want to do is add data, and it's foolish for me to have to wait a few seconds
for my accounts to be loaded and then minutes for the charts to be created, when
all I want to do is manipulate the data in the accounts.

I can save custom multicolumn reports? I thought that bug #104156 prevented me
from doing this? I wasn't able to figure out exactly what you meant above...
can you elaborate? If I can save my custom multi-column reports and then just
open them when I want them, this would save me loads of time and headaches.
Please let me know if/how I can do this.
Thanks!
