Hello,
I know this is of no direct help, but I just wanted to let you know
that it is possible to run GNUCash on an Intel Mac.
I have compiled and installed GNUCash 2.0.2 with GNUCash Docs 2.0.1
on an Intel MacBook Pro running Tiger 10.4.8. I used the
instructions on the "http://captnswing.net/2006/07/10/
gnucash20_on_intel_macs.html" site as you have, but please ensure you
read all the associated comments -- if you haven't already done so --
as there are some useful tips contained there.
For me, GNUCash works fine, and I have been progressively getting my
accounts sorted. However, two pieces of functionality aren't
operating as expected. I can't get Finance::Quote to update any
currency conversion rates, and also as I had posted a couple of weeks
ago, I can't get GNUCash Help to work from within GNUCash. Those
points asside, all the other functions of the application seem fine.
Regards,
Peter.
