Buying stock does not withdraw the money from source-account

you're probably hitting http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116353
where your locale currency is not the same as the currency you want for
the transaction.  Read the bug report for workarounds (create the initial
transaction from the Bank account and then go and edit it from the stock
account).
