AFAIK, Gnucash's Loan Repayment Calculation cannot handle extra
principal payment.

If you just want to set-up a scheduled fix-amount transfer from your
checking to your escrow, you don't need to use the Mortgate Druid.
The scheduled transaction editor is enough.
