Problem building 2.2.1 on Kubuntu 7.04

Sorry to report that removing 2.2.0 (at least I thought I removed 2.2.0.
It has lots of parts) before trying to install 2.2.1 resulted in the
same error.   

Reinstalling 2.2.0 works fine, no problems at all. I'll continue to
research this.
