I don't see why not, but I'd be happier using some other field. And in
fact, I'd like to see it linked to the txn. What if there was an
Action (/me checks action list) for Dividend... why yes there is. If
the user just enters a zero value/zero shares split with the Div
action, that would link the txn back to the right commodity right in
the txn.
