Entering Fractions on Funds

Hi there,

I'm trying to setup a Mutual Fund
account (for an investment I previously owned) where the smallest fraction
traded for the fund is 0.2 (1/5). For this, I've created the fund on the
security editor with a fraction traded value of 1/5.
I want to register also the brokerage fees payed, however I'm having a
hard time
on both of these things..

First: When I enter an "Initial Balance" transaction with a value of
7.6shares, gnucash converts that to 7 + 1/2 (which is
7.5). Fair enough, I tought... So I tried entering 7 + 1/5, instead of 7.6
. However it changes the value, heaven knows why, to 7+1/4 (7.25).

Second: I open up the account, enter a first transaction with:

Description: Initial Balance
Transfer: Select nothing
Shares: 7 (let's ignore the rounding issue mentioned earlier)
Price: 905.01

Then I click on Split. It gives me two lines. The first one filled with the
buy action totalling the number of shares and the total value and the second
empty. On the second line I try to register the brokerage fee by selecting:

Action: Fee
Description: Brokerage Fees payed
Account: Equity Opening Balances
Buy: 47.62 (the value of the fee payed)

then I click on close and save the transaction.. When I look at the report,
I don't see the brokerage fee on the last column.. Going back to the fund
account I realize there's an imbalance with the value of 47.62. Anyone knows
how I should register this so the values show up correctly on the report ?
