dependency changes break 2.0.4

Upgrades to dependencies seem to have broken gnucash 2.0.4, installed via
MacPorts to OS X 10.4.8. Gnucash was working well, but until a routine
upgrade in MacPorts, but no longer starts with "open-x11 gnucash". Trying to
start in X11 terminal window produces the following:

MacBook:~ lewy$gnucash
dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libdbus-1.2.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libgoffice-1.2.dylib
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap
MacBook:~ lewy$

There are references to libgoffice in the archives here, but I don't
understand the implications. (Sorry)

I rebuilt gnucash to no avail. From the chat site, it looks like maybe the
dbus library has changed. I would replace that component, but it has further
dependencies and I am lost in the maze.

I would then recompile gnucash with the original dependencies (which worked)
but lack the knowledge of how to do it. Of course, nothing breaks until the
board meeting is upon me (Wednesday, 7 Feb). If someone could give me fairly
explicit help, I would be extremely grateful.
