General Ledger dates

Sure there is!

If you mean Tools -> General Ledger, then the way to do it
is via View -> Filter By.   If, however, you mean the Reports ->
Assets & Liabilities -> General Ledger, then the way to do it
is via the [ Options ] toolbar entry.
