Custom Reports

Having tootled around with creating Custom Reports (and run into the problems
outlined in the FAQ), I was wondering whether:

a) The duplicate report problem (i.e., the fact that you can save the same
report more than once and cause GC to crash) was in process of being fixed, and

b) on a related note, whether there were any plans to implement some kind of
API for the custom reports for the informal user, so that they could delete
reports or modify them.
