How to keep track of house money

Hello All,

In our house we are each obligated to pay $x.xx a month.  Sometimes one
of us will fall behind. I'm trying to figure out how to keep track of
it.

The only way I can figure would be to have an AR account, make each
person a customer, and then have a monthly invoice.  Is that about right
or is there a simpler/easier way?
