I had similar problems a few months ago and sent a few messages but I did
   get much response.
This was with 2.1.3 or 2.14 I think. Anything newer that 2.0.5 will not
   load my business accounts.
   I have a separate /usr/local/gnucash install of 2.1.3
   ldd gnucash-bin

Does that help?

WEIRD.. This feels like it's failing to load the business module
into gnucash! I have no idea how that can happen, but that would
explain this error, I think. Run under "strace" and see if it's
loading the business libraries?
