Here I put the corresponding RHEL5 stuff, or, where not included, a
reference to FC7 where similar stuff can be found.

1.) Would it be better to use earlier versions, e.g., FC6?
2.) Is gtk+2, above, the same as gtk2, below? If not, is it needed?
    I have gtk+-1.2.10-56.el5 if that would do. But if not...?
3.) Is libgsf1, above, the same as libgsf-1.*.* below?
4.) I have gtkhtml3-3.12.0--1.fc6 on the machine. I assume it is the
    [lib]gtkhtml3 referred to above, but is not in the list below.
    Is this an oversight, or am I misunderstanding something?
5.) Are libgoffice and libgsf one and the same? Because I do not have
    the former and do have the latter. But the version numbers seem
    to be different
6.) I have libbonobo-2.16.0... stuff on the machine, but they do not
    appear in the list below. Is this an oversight, or am I
    misunderstanding something?
7.) Similarly for gnome-vfs2-2.16.2...
8.) Similarly for libfnomeprint22-2.12.1-9.el5
9.) I do not have gnome-vfs-module. Is it in one of the other packages?
10.) Similarly for pangoft2.
11.) Should the "devel" packages corresponding to the libraries be
    installed as well?
