It's in the same place for 2.x  (why don't you have 2.x? it's been out
almost a year, now. :)

The other important point is that these prefs are independent of the
datafile, so it might be useful to do:

$ gnucash --nofile
# change prefs
# File > Open... (or) File > [recent #1]
