That's funny ... the .desktop file in the source tree goes through 2 levels
of make-driven processing to include l10n information.

But at least on Gentoo, a separate .desktop file is installed by the packager
that does not take the distributed .desktop into account.  Maybe it's a
similar issue with SUSE.
