Follow up to my original post - Gnucash won't load my data file

I tried to run from a console and I get the following error.

[carl at localhost ~]$ gnucash
gnc.bin-Message: main: binreloc relocation support was disabled at
configure time.

Segmentation fault

I just got back from 2-1/2 week vacation and turn on the computer for
the first time in over 2 weeks..

Try to open gnucash 2.2.1 (mandriva 2008 version) The gnucash splash
screen come up saying its loading and than it disappear from the desktop
and what is it.

So what should I do to try to fix this?
