SX and double-line

It's not a known bug, but it appears to have been around forever...

The transaction creation (src/app-utils/gnc-sx-instance-model.c:993,
create_each_transaction_helper) clones the template transaction, but then
explicitly and totally clears out the KVP frame data.  Unfortunately, the
"notes" field is stored in the KVP frame data.

Please file a bug at
<http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GnuCash>.  Copying the
thread or linking to the mailing list archives would be helpful.
