Command line arguments for the windows version

I'm looking at v2.2.1 on Windows and have a question about giving command line
arguments. Can I do it?

I open up a cmd shell and do the following:
C:\>cd "C:\Program Files\gnucash\bin"
C:\Program Files\gnucash\bin>"C:\Program Files\gnucash\bin\gnucash.bat" --
nofile

but GC starts and opens my data file.

Similarily, if I want to start GC on a different data file I can't do it
from the command line.

Is this expected or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks,
K.
