I have the same problem, at least under KDE.
 
I seem to remember that I got it working under Gnome.
 
What are you using?
 
We have seen a discussion here in which it was suggested to add a few symlinks into the kde help arena, but for me to no avail either.
In the end I gave up. I do not like Gnome and use a pdf copy of the user docs if needed...
 
A real solution would be comforable indeed, but I do not expect this to be a GnuCash issue (per se).

I installed the gnucash latest version on SuSE 10.2.  Then I installed
docs from

the following

gnucash-docs-2.2.0.0.rauch.2.noarch.rpm

I clicked on it and allowed yast to install it. 

But when I run GnuCash, and click on Help then Tutorial and Concepts
Guide it gets

"There is no documentation available for
/opt/gnome/share/gnucash/gnome/help/gnucash/C/gnucash-guide.xml"

But when I look, the folder is there, the file is there, along with many
other files.  Why can't it find it?
