Could not find slib/require.scm

Hi,
I have gnucash 2.0.5-2 on a debian testing install. I upgraded my
motherboard from a athlon xp to a athlon64. Now I get this when I start
gnucash:

ERROR: Could not find slib/require.scm in ("/usr/share/guile/site"
"/usr/share/gnucash/guile-modules" "/usr/share/gnucash/scm" ""
"/usr/share/guile/site" "/usr/share/guile/1.8" "/usr/share/guile")

There is a require.scm in /usr/share/slib/require.scm. But none of the
search paths are "/usr/share".

After a while I realized that I had not upgraded the kernel so I
upgraded from:

#kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-4-686 root=/dev/hda13 ro vga=791
#initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-4-686

to:

kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-2-amd64 root=/dev/hda13 ro vga=791
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-2-amd64

but that didn't help.
Would uninstalling and then reinstalling help?
Does anyone know what I can do?
Thanks,
John
