Long term commitment, stability, features

Hi All,

I am considering moving a small business over to gnucash from
quickbooks.  Before embarking on this endeavor I'm wondering:

1) How stable is the current release?  

2) Are there any significant features available in quickbooks that are
missing from gnucash?

3) How likely do you think that gnucash will continue to be developed
and maintained over the next ten years?  

Sorry for grouping three questions into one email, but they are all
related.
