Dear friends,

in between I asked the original author of that druid. If you understand
german, you can read his answer in
https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-de/2008-August/006306.html.

As always, there is good and bad news.

The good news is, that he could find the starting point of his work in
http://svn.gnucash.org/trac/changeset/6284 and his following postings in
http://svn.gnucash.org/trac/log/gnucash/branches/1.6/src/gnome until r6377.

The bad news is, as you can see, that was in 1.6 and the implementation of
currencies changed with 1.8. So it would not be a pure cherry picking of the
commits to get this again working. Someone had to adjust the underlying
structure of the currencies.

Hope that helps!

Regards,
Frank
