All transactions from QIF import listed as unspecified ... me too

I am new to Gnucash and have installed 2.2.5. I am experiencing the 
same problem as Austin.  Here is an example of the QIF file I've 
downloaded

I am not sure how the matching process works .. in some of the files I 
tested I deleted the 'RETAIL PURCHASE' before importing, would that 
making a difference or would it be able to pick up the Payees name with 
our without the standard retail purchase bit?

You are referring to bug 520606, which affected memos only (QIF "M" 
line).
There haven't been any problems reported with payees (however, your 
bank may
putting them in the memo line.) In any case, this was fixed in 2.2.5.  I
have just tested with 2.2.6 and payees and memos both seem to be mapping
correctly.

Could you provide a sample file that reproduces the problem? If I can
reproduce it, I can fix it.
