V. 2.2.6 - Preferences: Accounting Period

Hello, 

Just updated from 2.2.1 to 2.2.6 (on WIN XP). 

Default settings of the accounting period are: from 01.08.2008 to 01.08.2008.

All adjustments I enter/or choose from the calendar are gone when the preferences 
window is closed again.

Do you know how to change the dates permanently ? Thank you very much !
