GnuCash 2.2.8 does not start on Vista x64

Hi,

Gnucash 2.2.7 worked perfectly fine on Vista x64. Today, I have upgraded 
to 2.2.8, and now, Vista complains about gconfd.exe being a 16bit app(?).

What could be wrong?
