2.2.8 source build hangs

I just built 2.2.8 from source on OpenSuSE 10.3.  I've had no issues
with 2.2.6 and previous (skipped .7)

Now I'm having trouble closing any tabs and the main application - it
just hangs and has to be k9'd.

I get this on the command line:

Anyone see this before?  Anything else I can send to make a bug
report?
