  Dave, I did a self-update with the same results.  I didn't try a 
command for fink to install "gnome-keyring".  I did eventually fix the 
problem by a source download of Fink.  After that, the gnucash download 
and build worked fine and gnucash is functioning fine.  If I ever need 
to reinstall I will again try the binary download and this time request 
Fink to install any missing packagesfirst.  That is where the deficieny 
was for me - not in gnucash.  Thanks for the reply.

Have you done a 'fink selfupdate' recently? gnome-keyring-dev 2.24.1-1 
is available, but perhaps your local package descriptions haven't been 
updated to know how to get it.
