"Find" no longer works

I also prefer and use fvwm; gnucash is on a different system which I can get
to with VNC. You could loop back to a gnome VNC session on your own system
just for running gnucash. There are also other workarounds to get another
WM running in a 'window' (which I have not tried) here:
