GKrellM's Stock Ticker usses F::Q as well.  Here is the Help from it:

 "For Europe and Asia Tickers must be entered like SYMBOL.EXCHANGE 

 e.g. 12150.PA for Paris Exchange 
 e.g. CREA.SI for Singapore Exchange

Australia is AX, but F::Q can handle Australia directly.
