How do I backup GnuCash?

I moved gnucash from one computer to another recently, by tarring
(from $HOME) the following:

  .gnome/GnuCash  
  .gnome/accels/GnuCash
  .gnucash

as well as the directory containing the "main file" and the .xac and
.log files, and on the second machine some preferences were back to
the defaults.  


I wonder if this wiki section is missing something?
