Changing the home directory

I'm new to GNUCash too and made same mistake when setting up. I closed 
de program, moved the file from one to the other directory, 
right-clicked on it, chose "open with...", selected GNUCash and that's 
it! It opens from the new directory since then. I don't know if it's the 
best way to fix this but worked for me. Hope it helps.
