You're assuming a good deal of sophistication on the part of the 
accountant, not to mention the ability to handle XML files.  You're 
better off generating reports, Exporting them, then importing them into 
OpenOffice.Org Calc.  Accountants like spreadsheets (that's why they 
were invented).  Make his/her life easy - it will save you time, $$$, 
and aggro.
