It works for me!  And that last bit (about the c/n/y column) means
that when I look at the bottom of that register, I can easily work out
the total of unsubmitted claims (= balance - cleared balance) and
unpaid but submitted claims (= cleared balance, because the reconciled
balance is always 0).
