I note from this URL:

This statement is blatanely false.  GnuCash is mainly C.  Indeed, it
is 80% C!  Only 17% of GnuCash is in Guile/Scheme.  Granted, I cannot
comment on your inability to "handle" it, but the rest of your
statement is misleading at best.
