Getting Stock Quotes and Securities set up...

I have a question on the above... I have Finance::Quote installed along
with gnucash 2.2.7. This works ok for some stocks I have as I see the
stock price updated - example is IBM (using Yahoo). However, I have some
other stocks (UK stocks) which I can't seem to get to work correctly.
Example:
using "qnc-fq-dump yahoo_europe NG.L" (or europe)
returns
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:
    symbol: NG.L                 <=== required
      date: 00/00/2000           <=== required
  currency: GBP                  <=== required
      last: 7.04                 <=\
       nav:                      <=== one of these
     price: 7.04                 <=/
  timezone:                      <=== optional
but within gnucash when I try and get quotes from within the price
editor it complains that "FUND:NG.L" can not be retrieved. I have
defined the security
with NG.L in the symbol/abbreviation field with either Yahoo Europe
(Single) or Europe (Multiple) and both these fail...
I also have the same problem with SSE.L - works via the command line but
not from get quotes within gnucash.
Any ideas as to why I can not get this quote??
Thanks,
Neil
