What system are you using? What version of perl? In OS X 10.5, Apple's  
openssl is in /usr/bin, and the headers are in /usr/include/openssl,  
certainly not Makefile.PL.

I don't think any of the ibooks can run 10.5, so the location may be  
different, and the version certainly is different -- possibly too old  
for the current crypt-ssleay.

I don't have any clue about the problem with HTML-TableExtract, unless  
there's a version-too-old problem there.
