strange file name

The "main file" is what is displayed on the titlebar.  The "backup"
files are all named <main file>.YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.xac

Provided you did a File -> Open on the corrected file, and then
be sure to exit gnucash so that information is saved in GConf..
