no dbus?

Next roadblock seems to be dbus.

Using macports on Leopard, after fixing goffice with Leonore's help,  
I'm met with an error on Terminal login.

In my .profile there is

	eval `dbus-launch --auto-syntax`

which results in

	EOF in dbus-launch reading address from bus daemon

and generates a short crash file.


If I try the command recommended in the docs

	launchctl load /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist

then I see

	nothing found to load


Launching gnucash gives the following:

dyld: Symbol not found: _gll_noop
   Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/ 
Versions/A/OpenGL
   Expected in: /opt/local/lib/libGL.dylib

Trace/BPT trap

It's not clear to me how one error may be related to the other.

What next?
