Query for Account Receivables

Hi GNU Team,

              I am proud user of GNU cash  open source software but  I am
facing one problem with this.

            My problem is:

When I raise the invoice from the software then it does not show the amount
in Account Receivables. AR remains the same. there is no change in the AR.
So please help me out.
