You can get the same result with the export to html function built in to Gnucash [it should work on all platforms].

If you are working in Windows, an alternative (and simpler, if less
elegant!) method is to

a) display the report

b) Select the report content and copy it (to the clipboard)

c) Paste the data into an open spreadsheet (I've tried this using both
Excel and PlanMaker from Softmaker Office, and presumably it would also
work with Open Office ...).

Once you have done that it is an easy matter to save the result as a .CSV
file.
