Japanese Characters from OFX file

It does, however the question is /which/ char set is it.  Is it
UTF8?  ISO?  What is the OFX file's charset?

GnuCash internally uses UTF8.  However I think the OFX importer is
ISO.  (But I'm not 100% sure of that).

Note that we have similar issues with QIF import...
