Change currency forever?

Derek, wouldn't it suffice to change the settings for default currency under properties (on the Mac) or settings (PC and linux)?

I know he says he doesn't want to ever see CAD or anything else again even as an option, but changing his locale to en_US is probably going to have effects outside of BC.

On the other hand, he can set locale to en_US in the shell script that starts GC, and that will only affect GC.
