Thanks!  At least in my case, a single list of Stocks is easier to search
than a separate list for each exchange.  The ticker symbol alone seems to be
enough for Yahoo Finance and other stock pricing services.

There's no requirement to do so.  It's there to make finding the stocks
easier for you.  But GnuCash doesn't care what you put in there (modulo
a few strings that are 'reserved').
