How do you set up deposits to appear before debits on same-day transactions?

I'm sorry, I meant "balance" not "imbalance".  Is it possible to do what I
ask?  My bank always places deposits ahead of debits when I view any
particular day's transactions.  I'd like Gnucash to be able to do the same.
