Note that autocompletion in the register should make regular
entry a breeze.  So long as your transaction has a unique description,
once you fill that in and tab over the register should autocomplete the
rest of the transaction for you.

So all you need to type manually would be the date, the txn number
(which you probably don't use for these kinds of transactions), and then
the description.
