question about the new sql backend(s)

with the new sql backend coming to gnucash, will it be possible to enter transactions across multiple 'files'?

i use three separate files in gnucash, two are to track individual finances, the third is to track joint finances.  when money needs to be transferred from an individual account to the joint account, a transaction entered in one of the individual account files from an asset account to the 'joint' expense account.  then, a transaction is entered in the joint file as income from the appropriate individual account.  with the coming sql backend, will be possible to link the different 'files' in the example above, so one transaction can be entered to pay the joint 'file' from one of the individual 'files'?
