printing adding extra white space..

for some reason, i am getting extra white space when i print my  
invoices and reports.

in the case of the reports, i am getting a full page break inserted..  
so i get the header "account summary 12/31/2009".. and then the  
account report on the next page..

i am attaching a copy of a one line invoice..

if i print more than a few lines in an invoice, i get the header on  
one page, then the rest of the invoice on the next page..

any ideas?

gnucash: 2.2.9
os: osx 10.5.7
installed via macports
