Jobs and Invoices

OK, so having now successfully imported my customer list using the new
import feature, I get to my next little problem.  :-)

In this application, my customer-base is in fact the membership of my
Rotary Club, and at some point I'm going to need to invoice every member
for their annual subscription.  At the moment it looks as if I am going
to need to create a new job for each customer, and then a new invoice for
each job, which seems a pretty long-winded way of going about things.  Is
there some way I might short-circuit all that sort of stuff?  Or are
there any plans to add functionality that's a little more friendly to
this kind of business model?
