I got a bunch of these in the terminal on startup:

"Dynamic session lookup supported but failed: launchd did not provide
a socket path, verify that org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist is
loaded!"

I fixed it with

$ sudo launchctl load -w
/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-system.plist
Password:
org.freedesktop.dbus-system: Already loaded
$ launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist
launchctl: CFURLWriteDataAndPropertiesToResource(/Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist)
failed: -10
$ gnucash
