how to deal with paypal fees

Hmmm ... not a good sign. :-)

To me, a PayPal fee is a bank servicing fee, which should be entered
as an expense. Even if you add a charge to the client to cover the
amount, you'll always have to post the PayPal fee as an expense (which
means a split transaction entry).
